Business happens in rooms. Someone walks into an open house, or up to a stand at a trade show, and for a few minutes there is a real conversation. Then everyone leaves, and almost none of it survives.
Lynkst is the system of record for that encounter — who showed up, what they were told, what they agreed to, and what they did next.
The CRM remembers the deal.
We remember the room.
What it is
Three things we think are true, and would like to be told we're wrong about.
Who arrived, when, through which door. What was presented to them. What they acknowledged. What they were given. And what the person on our side of the table actually observed — written down while they're still standing there, not from memory at 11pm.
A disclosure acknowledgement, a request for materials, an email opt-in and an SMS opt-in are four different permissions. We capture them separately, record which were refused, and keep the exact wording that was on screen at the time.
The moment is short. The period it belongs to is long — a listing runs 56 to 118 days, an event programme runs 8 to 20 shows a year. We're the instrument panel for that period, fed by the in-person moment.
Who it's for
Where we are
That's deliberate. We've spent our time so far talking to people and killing our own ideas — two earlier versions of this business are already in the bin, both for good reasons.
What we're doing now is finding out whether the third version is wrong too, before we write the code. If you run open houses or work trade show stands, five minutes of your honest reaction is worth more to us than a hundred sign-ups.
We'd particularly like to hear from you if you think we've got it backwards.
